Getting Started with a Basic Membership

Wild Literacy’s Basic Membership offers an excellent way to try out our activities. In this post we’ll look at what you get with a Basic Membership and how to get the most from it (including full access to Module One of our Adventures in Description course – see below for more).

To navigate your Basic Membership begin from your ‘My Membership’ area. You can select that from the main website menu.

A Basic Membership includes a limited selection of activities from each of the three areas of the site. Use these images to navigate – they will show you what is currently included with your Basic Membership.

Each of these featured Creative Writing Activities provides a different example of what Wild Literacy has to offer. Try each one and see which you like the best. 

Featured Topic Packs include a selection of activities for you to try. If you like the pack upgrade to unlock all the other activities. 

The BIGGEST feature of a Basic Membership is full access to Module One of our Adventures in Description course. 

Select Level 1 (ages 7 – 11 approx) or Level 2 (ages 11 – 14 approx) and then select Module 1 to access all six sessions. 

Module 1 introduces you to different types of describing words and uses games and different senses to build your own descriptive paragraph.

Wild Literacy courses are excellent for both enthusiastic and relunctant writers. They provide an engaging framework for children to develop their writing from wherever they are at.
